ArtemisArtemis
Artemis Crock is the daughter of two villains from the Golden Age: Paula Brooks, the original Huntress, who started out as the heroic Tigress of the Young All-Stars before being tainted by evil and turning to crime; and "Crusher" Crock, The Sportsmaster, an extremely gifted athlete who carried an arsenal of sports-related weapons. Following in the evil footsteps of her parents, Artemis donned a costume and crossbow and joined the Wizard's "Injustice Unlimited", a team of second-generation super-villains who battled the second-generation super-team called Infinity Inc. Artemis disappeared from the public eye after Injustice Unlimited disbanded, later falling into the thrall of Gabriel Santiago, a madman who killed super-heroes for fun and normal people for pay. Apparently her recent defeat at the hands of Wildcat was just the beginning to her story...
DamageDamage
Though he is the son of Al Pratt, the Golden Age Atom, Grant Emerson's powers are derived from an infusion of the genetic potential of most members of the Justice Society of America and the Justice League of America. Immediately after giving birth to Grant, his mother, Mary Pratt, was murdered by Vandal Savage and the child was stolen off. Al Pratt was told that both his wife and son had died in childbirth. The baby was taken to the Symbolix corporation, where the scientist responsible for Baron Blitzkrieg and Axis America exposed him to a self-replicating virus which had duplicated the genetic potential of theoretically every superhero that Vandal Savage had ever faced. The child was put in the care of Symbolix employee Henry Emerson and raised as his child. When a new wave of heroes debuted while young Grant was in the first grade, Savage had some of their genetic material taken as well and infused into Grant, giving him the potential of being the most powerful metahuman on the planet. Currently, Grant's abilities include energy absorption, which is multiplied inside his body and then used in a variety of ways, such as enhanced strength, flight, energy or force blasts, and occasionally flight. This energy is very hard for Damage to control. Sometimes he loses control altogether and expels all of his energy in one massive explosion. In the past Damage has served as a member of the Titans.
Mister TerrificMister Terrific
Michael Holt was a man who had it all: An Olympic gold medal in the decathalon; His own cyberwear company, which he sold to WayneTech before retiring; A beautiful wife. Then tragedy stuck as his wife was killed in a freak car accident. Despondent, he contemplated suicide until the Spectre appeared to him and revealed the legend of Terry Sloane, the original Mister Terrific. Inspired, Holt took the mantle of Mister Terrific and the slogan of "Fair Play," vowing to take the streets of inner-city New York back from the "gangstas", giving the minds and the hearts of the children the freedom to grow and develop in peace.
Phantom LadyPhantom Lady
The daughter of one-time U.S. Attorney General Albert Tyler, Dee Tyler assumed the identity of Phantom Lady in order to protect her father from the blackmail of the criminal organization Les Mille Yeux. Dee was trained by the original Phantom Lady, Sandra Knight, as was her mother before her, at the exclusive French finishing school Notre Dame des Ombres (Our Lady of the Shadows). Her primary abilities are an extensive knowledge of the martial art called savate, also known as French kickboxing, a wrist-mounted laster, and a holographic projector that can be used to cast powerful illusions.
Plastic ManPlastic Man
While robbing the Crawford Chemical works, petty criminal "Eel" O'Brian was shot by a guard and knocked over a vat of chemicals. The chemicals seeped into his wound, giving him the power to stretch and alter any part of his body. Reforming, he assumed the identity of Plastic Man while maintaining his O'Brian identity to pose as a criminal and learn of new crimes to foil. Since gaining his powers in the early '40s, Plas has been a member of the FBI, the All-Star Squadron, the Freedom Fighters, and the JLA.
The RayThe Ray
Though the son of the Golden Age superhero called The Ray, Ray Terrill did not meet his father until he turned 18. In the 1940s, The elder Ray, Happy, encountered his son, Ray, though he didn't know it was his son, Ray, who was on a time travelling trip. Ray figured out that his son, Ray, was really his son, and figured everything in his life was going to work out just fine. He got married, and had a son, Joshua, who was mentally stunted by the powers he inherited from his father and killed his mother in a fit of rage. Happy cryogenically froze Josh in a missile silo and went on with his life, eventually falling in love with another woman and marrying her. When she became pregnant, Happy was horrified and tried to get her to have an abortion. She refused. After giving birth to this child, a boy, she was told by her husband that the child had died. In reality he'd been sent off to be raised by Happy's brother, Thomas, with the instructions that he was te be kept out of the light at all times to keep his powers from activating and having a repeat of the situation with Joshua. Happy, using his powers to change his appearance, often visited his son to check on his progress. When he turned 18, Ray was accidentally exposed to light and his powers activated, giving him a near-indestructible "light-form", the ability to fly, and the ability to cast energy-blasts. Thus began the super-hero career of the second Ray. In his short time as a super-hero, the Ray has served as a member of Justice League America, Justice League Task Force, and the Forgotten Heroes, though he has now moved on to join the all-new All-Star Squadron.
ZatannaZatanna
Zatanna Zatarra is the culmination of two legacies of magic. One one side, she is the daughter of John Zatara, a master stage magician and reputed descendant of Leonardo da Vinci who used backwards spells to perform actual acts of magic. Zatara used his magic to fight crime in the 1940s and served as a member of the wartime All-Star Squadron. On her mother's side, she is Homo Magi, a branch of humanity with inate sorcerous skills. In her long career as a crimefighter Zatanna has served as a member of the Justice League of America and the "Sentinels of Magic," while maintaining a career as a succesful stage magician.
