A hero once beset with problems, Rick Tyler seems to have come into his own recently. Taking no more than one dose per day of Miraclo, the wonder chemical developed originally by his father, Rick gains superhuman strength, speed, and invulnerability.but only for one hour. He has also now been granted several strange new time-related powers by a descendant of his from the future, and though Rick is an active and enthusiastic member of the current Justice Society of America, he has begun to focus more and more on the possibility of saving his father, a man long thought lost forever.

Soseh Mykros is the genetically-engineered daughter of Anatol Mykros, the power-mongering head of a nefarious organization called simply, The Council. Strong, agile, resilient, a tremendous physical fighter with the ability to instantly mimic any physical feat or fighting style she sees, Nemesis is also an associate of the Justice Society. She has declared war on her own father, and has already lost her twin sister Ellina to the struggle. Nemesis has come to Rick seeking his help in her quest.
Phantom LadyPhantom Lady
Dee Tyler - no relation to Rick - has taken on the mantle of the Phantom Lady from the original heroine by that name, Sandra Knight, and in so doing, has also inherited a connection of sorts to the Justice Society. Possessed of a variety of phantom-themed abilities well-suited to combat and espionage - including invisibility - she has been sent along by the famed crime-fighter and JSA member known as the Black Canary to gain some experience, and to aid Nemesis and Rick as they move against the Council.
Rex TylerRex Tyler
Rick's father, and the original Hourman. After a long and successful career as a superhero, including status as one of the founding members of the legendary Justice Society of America, Rex was sadly killed in the line of duty. Fate, however, in the form of a visitor from the future, has granted Rex a seemingly temporary and tenuous new reentry into the land of the living.
TigressTigress
Artemis Crock is the daughter of two super-villains, and is doing her level best to carry on the family tradition. A natural hunter, and a member in good standing of the Injustice Society, Tigress is a killer who has developed a grudge of her own against the same Council that Nemesis seeks to destroy. She has decided to adopt a false civilian identity in order to keep tabs on Rick Tyler, and through him, monitor whatever anti-Council progress Nemesis might be making.
